On February 22, a delegation from the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia, led by Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Muhimeed, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation and Research, visited the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice (KICJ) and had a meeting with the President and department heads. The purpose of the visit was to discuss research on crime analysis and prevention in the digital age.

At the meeting, President Tae-hoon Ha, Dr. Hyungmin Bark (Chief Director of Department of Legal Policy Research), Dr. Hyun-Wook Chun (Director of Foreigners Immigration Policy Research Division), Dr. Yeong-jung Kim (Director of Planning Office), and Dr. Jisun Choi (Director of Cooperation Office) attended and discussed future network and cooperation plans.

Following the meeting, the introduction of the institute was led by Dr. Yoori Seong and Dr. Yeong-jung Kim gave a presentation on research activities of KICJ. After the presentations, there was a Q&A session and further discussion on research cooperation opportunities.
