On December 14^th, KICJ and the UN Latin American Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (ILANUD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing ceremony was attended by Director Douglas Durán Chavarría of ILANUD, KICJ President Tae-hoon Ha, Vice President Jun Hwi Park, Director Jee Young Yun of the Criminal Policy Research Division, Director Soo Jin Kwon of the Crime Prevention and Corrections Research Division, Director Seong-Hoon Park of the Digital Center for Criminal Justice and Law, Director Yeong-jung Kim of the Planning and Evaluation Team, and Director Jisun Choi of the Division of International Affairs.

KICJ and ILANUD have been maintaining cooperative relations and carried out joint projects under the UN Programme Network of Institutes. Both parties agreed to promote academic and technical cooperation regarding research, training, technical assistance, and information collection and dissemination.
